Via Dezeen London studio Logical Art has created a series of papery necklaces with delicate cut-out patterns (+ movie). They may look fragile, but the Air Tattoos are made of a tough paper-like material that’s waterproof and resistant to tearing.Each one was developed from a hand drawing and simply clips around the neck by slotting one end through the other.

The designers are now raising money for production in exchange for pre-orders through crowd-funding platform Kickstarter.

Artist Hillary Coe created these gorgeous flower bouquets using abandoned and discarded spray paint cans. She is a part of Can Love organization which aim is to take the graffiti and sculpture medium to a new level. Hillary says that each step of the process, from extracting paint to opening and disassembling the can, lends itself to a new form of art.(via)

The Magazine Rack Chair was designed by Seung Han Lee , a designer from South Korea, currently living in England. ” I have produced a unique and innovative piece of furniture, which was inspired by the idea of combining a magazine rack and chair into one multi-functional, space saving design. The chair was made from stainless steel to give a more lively reflective quality to the chairs aesthetic appearance. The design’s most important feature is that your magazines can be stored away conveniently by hanging them open on the rails at the last page you read and thus yo do not lose your place.”

This bar design takes on multiple-colored discotheque inspired by natural cave-like formation. This is a Portuguese nightclub installed with layered lacquered MDF ceilings that was designed specifically to imitate the natural formations of a cave. More on ChicTip.

Light Forest is another great example of the industrial inspired trend of wire, tubes and connected joints. I simply love this lamp designed by Ontwerpduo (Nathan Wierink and Tineke Beunders). Just like the name tells us, the lamp is like a forest, or an organic structure, that grows over your wall and ceiling, giving you several light point in different hight, as well as it becomes a beautiful decoration. It kind of remind me of Alice in wonderland in some strange way, at the same time as I can clearly see the inspiration from old pipes and industrial structures.
