Victoria Bartlett Silver Patch Bandage Bra

Victoria Bartlett bra

What a beautiful Silver Patch Bandage Bra by Victoria Bartlett. Bartlett’s aim was to fill that barren space between lingerie and sportswear, and, judging by the success of the underwear-as-outerwear trend, she was on to something really, really good. What makes her pieces so cool is the fact that they can be mixed, matched, and layered in a million different ways.

Pret A Surf

pret a surf pret a surf

Is it just me, or does everyone go through a serious “SURFER GIRL PHASE?” The hilarious thing about this in my case is that I grew up in a landlocked state- so, yes; you see why that’s funny. Eventually I moved to California and started learning how to surf, I rented all the movies- I watched “Blue Crush” about a hundred times and even considered moving to Hawaii….when I actually went to Hawaii I realized that I was not hardcore AT ALL and real surfer chicks can sense it. The dream of wanting to be some sexy, rock hard body surfer eventually faded and I settled for more of a “city girl” thing- but there are still times when I miss those west coast days, the sun, the sand and the beach days. The thing with the surfer “fashion” is it’s pretty limited- you’ve got Roxy, Billabong and a few other designers that create “girly” surfer (and snowboarder) clothing, but the whole vibe is generally pretty narrow- so what if you’re a surfer girl who has a little bit of a mod/contemporary edge…can you be a girl who loves to catch a wave, and also a good deal on some amazing clothing?

This beautiful bell shaped dress is one of my favorite, I have couple of them in my closet.
It flows just above knee length so you could dress it up with some wedges or down with some comfy flats, either way you will look as cute as a button especially with this cute bow at the back that I am sure to attract the kindest of compliments.

One Of My Favorite Clothing Company- Madewell

Madewell

For the most part it’s really hard to find a store that makes incredible clothing, “well made,” that endures the wear and tear of everyday life and will last- often so many stores that are AFFORDABLE are also making their clothes to fall apart sooner that later, thus you keep coming back buying more, when you could’ve just invested in something for a little bit more money that you’d have for years….rather than just a season. Well, the store MADEWELL, certainly upholds it’s name, established in 1937 Madewell has been making clothing to last for years. The style and look of the shop itself is both casual and classic; perfectly fit jeans, well tailored shorts, pullover sweaters, tanks and classic t-shirts. They’re creating the kind of look that crosses over so many fashion barriers and can’t easily be defined as a specific style- but is clothing for every type of events, era, and woman.

Countryside Uniform Gets Urban Appreciation

The Barbour men jacket the barbour women jacket

The Barbour jacket has been the mainstay of outdoor clothing for countryside dwellers since the first waxed jacket left the Barbour factory a hundred years ago.

At any countryside gathering, be it a shoot or a shopping day in a market town, the traditional uniform of Barbour outerwear can be clearly identified. The street or field scene is dominated with green jackets of the Barbour variety. The Barbour Brigade marches on through rain and shine.

Kaleidy Dress

Looking for a summer dress, but tired of all the same old floral patterns? Enter the Kaleidy Dress! This multicolored, variegated pattern is summer ready. It’s 100% cotton with a large keyhole with button closure at the back. The geometric print is reminiscent of quilt work, but has a trippy, kaleidoscope undertone. Stockings By Les Queues De Sardines

I’m a tattoo girl. I mean, I have small tattoos that are easy to cover, but if I were a braver woman- I would be a “tattoo girl.” There’s a vintage store near my house and the owner has amazingly sexy tattoos that resemble pantyhose going down her calves, with little hearts at the top- incredibly sexy. As long as you don’t forget to shave. I would never be able to pull that off, but now with the new pantyhose designed by Les Queues de Sardines, you can turn yourself into “alternative tattoo chic” without getting the permanent ink.

Flower Prints In Fashion

ShopTop Lingerie

Most memories I have of flower prints are from when my Mother was prancing around in her babydoll dresses, pregnant with my little sister and ready to pop. That was in the early 90’s however and like they say, “what goes around comes around!” and that isn’t just karma, that’s fashion! Floral prints are all over this season, and you don’t have to be extra girly to enjoy the prints. Floral isn’t mutually exclusive.
