The World Largest Swimming Pool
In December of 2006, this gigantic swimming pool was officially documented by the Guiness Book of World Records as the world’s largest swimming pool. The pool is located in Algarrobo, Chile at the San Alfonso del Mar resort.
The swimming pool is 1,013 meters in length, or approximately 3,323 feet, and holds 66 million gallons of water. That translates to roughly the same size as 6,000 8 meter long swimming pools! Not only does this pool hold the Guinness World Record for being the world’s longest, but at 115 feet it is also the world’s deepest. via
